Why join a therapy group?

There are some very good reasons why group based therapy may be a better option for you than one-to-one sessions.

  • First, for anyone going through difficulties in relationships there is great benefit in being able both to talk about those issues and to hear honest feedback from a number of others.
  • Secondly, the opportunity to understand ourselves better – to grow and develop as people, can be taken in a group setting where a safe space enables you to see yourself in relation to others – to compare and reflect on who you are.
  • Thirdly, a deeper understanding of the concepts of the therapy will be gained by hearing the questions and responses of others.
  • Lastly, from a purely financial perspective, it costs less!
