I offer psychotherapy to individuals and in groups. This is based on establishing a trusting, safe and empathic relationship within which, above all, I can listen carefully to your concerns. I look to establish a contract with you, within which I can provide the support and encouragement for you to address the issues you face and to achieve personal change and to manage your life and make decisions in more satisfying ways.
I have worked in a range of mental health and psychological services for more than twenty years. After qualifying as a social worker I completed my PhD at the University of Manchester. More recently I have provided social and psychological therapy to people with long-standing and complex personality and relationship problems.
